Deciding whether to move out of home can be a difficult decision. There are lots of things to think about, including where you will live and how you will support yourself financially. There are a number of organisations that can help you.

Reconnect

Reconnect is an organisation that can help you to work things out at home (e.g. problems with your family, tough times at school); and help you get your stuff sorted out for moving out (e.g. job training, jobs, accommodation, income support).

Reach Out!

Reach Out! is a web-based service that helps young people through tough times.

Department of Community Services (DoCS) (NSW)

DoCS deals with the care and protection of young people. If you feel that you are being abused at home, physically or otherwise (or you know someone that is) you may wish to report it – they can help stop the abuse and, if necessary, they can help get you out of an abusive situation.
